Learning to serve others is an important part of preparing the next generation of Christian leaders. At RCBA, it is also a part of every student’s educational development.
All High School students are required to serve a minimum of 24 hours per year. In collaboration with River City Community Church and our Parent Partners group, we provide a variety of substantive service experiences.
Outreach Opportunities include, but are not limited to:
• Street Meals feeding project
• Carpenter’s House inner-city ministry center
Though Middle School students are not required to perform these “service hours,” but they are highly encouraged to participate.
Providing High School students with opportunities for cross-cultural ministry experience is a high value at RCBA. We are currently developing our missions program and plans are in the works for short-term mission trips in the near future. Watch for more information as our ideas take shape.
