This exciting family event welcomes our new and returning students to RCBA with a fun evening before the first day of school. New students will get to meet the RCBA family and be introduced to fellow classmates, while returning students may catch-up with their friends and meet new students.
• Held on the grounds of our church’s future location at the former Verizon Center
• Sponsored by the high school NHS
• All students and parents from preschool to high school invited to bring a picnic lunch and a blanket
A new tradition at RCBA is to have a fall retreat where our students and faculty can draw closer to the Lord and to each other! During the retreat, our spiritual theme—which is used throughout the year for our chapel and student activities—is powerfully introduced through recreational activities, worship, and devotions.
Held in the Spring, the High School Formal is planned and promoted by the RCBA Student Council. The beautiful evening includes a delicious meal, fun activities, the Junior video dedicated to the Seniors, and instructor-led line dancing. Middle School students are offered the fun opportunity to serve at this event.
This annual fundraising event invites all of our RCBA family to participate! Students throughout the school (PreK-12th grade) are involved in activities to prepare, plan, promote, and present this fast-paced evening that includes a delicious meal. There are presentations by students and individual classrooms design items for the auction such as themed baskets or artwork, while our community is requested to donate items for the silent and live auctions.
Graduation, held the third week of May, is a meaningful and very personal ceremony for our graduates. The evening includes a traditional ‘walking across the stage,” Graduate Video/Slideshow, music from our very own RCBA Worship Team, and a refreshment reception afterwards. Seniors are also celebrated with a ‘memory/awards’ table set up for viewing.
