From the Superintendent…

RCBA is a ministry of River City Community Church under the leadership of Pastor Sean Azzaro. Pastor Sean has a passion to see RCBA be a different kind of Christian school.

Our mission at RCBA is to prepare students for real life. We work very hard to be a place where each student can grow in relationship with our creator and then acquire the tools to answer His call to change the world! Everything we do, from academics and fine arts to athletics and student life is an opportunity for our students to discover and become the individual that God created them to be! If you are looking for a school that will challenge students to grow as a whole person…spiritually, academically, socially and, physically, then RCBA is the school for you!

From the Principal…

The prospect of a new school year overflows with excitement and hope for the future, and this year at River City Believers Academy is no exception. I would like to welcome you to RCBA.  I find that I am filled with a God given joy about the future of our school. My goal is to provide students with an education for real life; which in our view, means equipping them with tools only a strong faith can provide as they engage the culture around them. Our educational goals at RCBA have been referred to as a “Kingdom” education and focus on a biblical worldview, spiritual and social awareness and the academic skills to act on their convictions. We also have a beautiful new campus and a talented staff that cannot wait to greet each of our students on the first day of school.

You have my commitment, as the instructional and administrative leader of this campus, that I will do everything in my power to equip students for academic success. However, I think what I anticipate the most is the opportunity to grow with each of you in our walk with the Lord. As Kyle Idleman proposes in his book not a fan., we should challenge ourselves to be more than just enthusiastic admirers (fans) of Jesus and move toward being a true follower of Jesus, which results in a real intimacy with Him. When Jesus was asked what is the most important commandment of all, in Mark 12:30 He replied, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.” Let’s have make this a great year!
